No Ovaries? No HRT?


If you have had your ovaries removed, you may have imagined you would take estrogen therapy to address your menopause symptoms. But you may have discovered that you can NOT take estrogen because of another health concern you have OR you may decide that HRT has risks you don’t want to encounter. Although studies have shown that for younger women, HRT in low doses can be a great benefit to you and your health and can be taken safely, many women have abandoned their estrogen.

    I had surgery 5 weeks ago and only did my patches for 1.5 weeks and decided no way too many what ifs and warnings.
