There are many brands of sew in and disposable shields and most create more problems than they resolve. Sew in shields need to be ‘sewn in' to each garment and this can become expensive and time consuming. All sew in shields and disposable shields (except ours!) have a plastic or plasticized moisture barrier that prevents the release of body heat creating additional moisture build up while making a rustling sound when moving the arms. They defeat the very purpose they were intended to prevent; they cause you to sweat even more plus now you are making a spectacle of yourself making all that rustling noise!
