 Well, today marks the 12th day after my TAH - I have to say it went much better than I expected - surgery on Monday - home on Wednesday - used a total of 4 tylenol for pain in the hospital. I truly believe that my working out at a gym 4-5 days per week for the past year and stepping up my workouts a month prior to surgery helped with my recovery. I cannot do anything in terms of household chores but my pain has been minimal, I have been walking alot, went out to lunch yesterday, and plan on going out to dinner tonight.

I hope that everyone who has a TAH has the good fortune of having a recovery and easy as mine - I had expected much worse.
