On the morning of Feb. 8 2001 I had my Uterus and cervix removed but not after over 3 years of hell. I have suffered from menopausal symptoms for some time only to be told i'm too young. This all started at the age of 28. All my complaints fell on deaf ears and I was even sent to a shrink because my symptoms and pain were "all in my head". While I was "imagining" the pain and heavy bleeding, which landed me in the ER twice, the doc did find CIS which was removed 2 years ago. I am also post tubal and have been told that has nothing to do with it. I dumped all those overpaid chimpanzees and found a new OB. I presented my case and WOW!, he was sympathetic and chose to do something. I'm still awaiting the pathology reports. Hopefully there will be no suprises and the pain that i've been living with will go away and my husband and I can get back to a normal marriage.
I can't help but get angry when I think about the treatment I have recieved over the years and even angrier knowing the mentality of the docs out there that treat women like they have nothing better to do but complain . My heart and prayers go out to all of you. God Bless!!!
