Dear HysterSisters,

As May 2005 ends we can celebrate some exciting things here at HysterSisters.

70,000 members!

We have 70,000 registered members as of early this morning! This is an incredible milestone for our community and only goes to underscore the need for women to have a safe, friendly, supportive place to come for their hysterectomy decisions and questions.

Launched in 1998, HysterSisters continues to be the hysterectomy support place on the internet!

New Offices

Yes, you've read it here!

From the beginning, HysterSisters has been housed in my extra bedrooms that were vacated by my launched grown children (now 25 and 27 years old

)

Spilling over from those two bedrooms into closets, the garage and a storage building in the backyard, we simply got to a point where we had to have more room and I really needed those bedrooms back. When my kids are home for a visit or we had guests come for a visit, finding a place for everyone to sleep was a puzzle surrounded by HysterSisters merchandise.

I found suitable offices here in town and this past weekend we moved desks, computers, shelves, merchandise, boxes, the whole kit and kaboodle.

Yes, it stretches the pocketbook and is a step of faith but one I believed was necessary to get my home back in order, separating "HysterSisters" from my home. I think its going to be great!

Its a moment to celebrate as we never ever considered we would need an office.

Exciting stuff!

New Look to HysterSisters coming soon!

Within the next few weeks there will be another change at Hystersisters.com. The look and style of our website will be changed as we upgrade the software. This has been a project that was planned for over a year, in the works for over 3 months now and will be ready for "re-launch" by mid June.

I'll send email and post more information about that upgrade soon so you will be prepared. Change is never easy....but change we must as we expand the features and services available here at HysterSisters.
