I had a vaginal hysterectomy in May of 2005. After surgery i didnt feel as though i had anything done . This took place on a Thursday and Saturday morning i was going to be released, so i proceeded taking a shower looking forward to going home . After my shower i started feeling sick . From that point all the way home i felt sick for days , but come to find out biggest reason was because i had a epadurial . I dont recommend this to anyone they didnt tell me all the prones about this ...i had major headaches if i raised my head off the sofa and later my back pain was more severe . But other than that actual surgery went very well. My problem now since was complaining of a burning around the ovary areas , been to dr twice and sec visit found out my left ovary is attached to my bowel cause of scar tissue and if within two weeks not feeling relief i stand the chance of another surgery. My hysterectomy was uterus and cervix removal , trying to spare the ovaries . Im 42 and doc says would like to prevent me jumping into menopause . So not sure at this point where that will go now if they take out one ovary . Thanks girls for all your support !
