 Are you in or near the Boston area? This study is for women who are ages 21-60 who have had their uterus removed. This research studies how testosterone in combination with estrogen affects a woman's mind and body.

Who should not participate: women who have had breast, ovarian, uterine or cervical cancer; women who have had blood clots in their legs or lungs and women who have a BMI (Body Mass Index) of 40 or more.

Compensation of $1,000.00 will be paid to those women who complete the 14 month study.

Dear Hyster Sisters Member,

My name is Suzanne Roth and I am a Nurse Practitioner and a Clinical Research Coordinator at Boston Medical Center. The Endocrinology department studies hormones and how they work in the human body.

Currently we are working with the OB/GYN department at Boston Medical Center on a research study that looks at the hormones testosterone and estrogen.

This study is for women who are ages 21-60 who have had their uterus removed. This research studies how testosterone in combination with estrogen affects a woman's mind and body.
