Hi everyone.
I got to the hospital at 6:00am on the 18th they started my IV did my blood work and told me it would be about 1:00 before they did my surgery. SinceI didnt sleep wensday night I slept until almost time the the or nurse came in and brought me some valium it put me back to sleep they took me to the OR and my nurse stayed right by me holding my hand until I was back out. next thing I know it was over and i was in recovery. My dr told me that my cyst was a little bigger than an orange and was causing my overy to twist. And that if I hadnt done this then I would have had to have emergency surgery soon. He sent it all off to pathology but doesnt think it was cancerous. They only problem I had was that the cath.it wasnt draining my bladder. but they took it out at 6:00am the next morning and I went straight to the bathroom. by 10:30 my dr came in and discharged me. I am to see him in 2 week. I did get a little scared at about 12:00 noon and the Dr told the nurse to give me something not to let me leave. LOL
You ladies were right the waiting was the worse part. I just wish I would have done this sooner.
