I was extremely nervous when Doc first said I needed surgery. In fact, I procrastinated for a year and a half! Turns out I had the surgery and it was great! The recovery was fine-even though my stomach hurt when I came out of it, the anti-inflammatory was great on all my other aches and pains. I was so busy bending my pain free knees I was totally distracted from the surgical pain. As far as the hormone replacement-I feel like I am 22 years old again. (My true age is 43). It has been 6 weeks now and I am back to work. Sex life is better than ever. The most frustrating things were the fatigue (lots of afternoon naps) and the pain associated with oncoming bowel movement. (Those have been gradually fading too). So, ladies, be ENCOURAGED-this could be the beginning of feeling a whole lot better. Just remember to be patient-the body uses a lot of energy to heal. So even though it may seem like you are not doing much, you are actually doing a lot-Recovering!! Good luck to all-sending positive thoughts and prayers your way. doublel13
