Hi!!

I would like to tell you my story that lead me to my total Hystermoty which I feel that is was the best thing I have done and wish I would have done it a lot sooner I feel like a new woman inside and out!! Even my doctor told me she says my skin color come back.

I have had three surgeries for endo from between age 18 which was my first and 21 for my 2nd and 25 for my third the doctor told me if I had to have another I would have to a Hystermoty. I thought no was I wanted to get married and have children so I held on with all the pelvic pain and painful periods just delt with it.

When I was 30 it all started down hill went in for my pap test and got the worst phone call in my life saying we need you come in three months your test did come out good.
That was the worst three months of my life worrying what did they find, am I going to be ok, what about my son etc. When in again had the test once again and had to wait for a week until they got the results what a worst week that was so much going through my head and mind and then they called me three days before mothers day saying Mrs___ we need you to come in right away and have a biopsy because your test once again did not come out good so right after mothers day I came into the doctors office and had it done and then had to wait two weeks and got the phone call which made my heart stop and was crying so bad they said we got your results back you have Cervical Dysplasia
Which is a form of cancer but they went in and removed it and told me they just caught in time it the cancer was going to my organs. I thought thank God!! They caught it what else could happen to me they say 30 your going down hill but I am to young to have this happen to me!! That is why these pap test are so important for people to have done.

Then the years went by doing great test coming out ok and then it was turing 40 in a couple of weeks and that’s when I go in for my test every year around my birthday
Menotined to my doctor that I was not feeling great very bloated, periods not the same etc. She said lets do the test and see if we see anything she didn’t see anything but I got that ulfull phone call once again your test came out back and this time instead of waiting the doctor wanted to to a byops right away which they knew right there it was not good the cervical dysplasia came back again. I felt that my world just fell under me. I kept thinking why me!!! The doctor mentioned doing a total hystermoic I thought long a hard thought I had one son did not want anymore childred but then kept thinking what about my sex life and would this surgery change me and my life and how would I cope with everything gone but I don’t want cancer I want to be here for my son. I called the doctor three days later and said Yes!! Lets do the surgery which we did 4 weeks later.

The day of surgery was scared was in the hospital for 4 days, came home kept telling myself this swelly belly is going to go away I went in with a flat stomach and came out with a big one. I asked the doctor what did you do take my fat from my rear and put in the front. I told the doctor I wanted a tummy tuck just joking. That is what got me through this surgery so well and I healed so fast me your attitude makes everything. I was going nuts at home so I kept making myself get up a do a little everyday little more each day and then went to the doctors after three weeks and she could not believe home much I healed so fast and looked so good on the outside she told me that she got the results back after surgery and we both made the right decision with having the surgery because there were signs of cancer down there.

I just wanted to tell my story because it is scary going through this you have to think about your life and how it going to change it and what I heard the stories of hyst. Is not correct because sex is not painful, the swelly belly does go away, you don’t gain weight (you have to watch it), your not moody (the moods come from you). Yes you have sweats (I take medicine it goes away) Everyone is different and I know it but its your attitude that get you through it if you have a positive one you will be fine our minds play a lot of tricks on us and its what we hear about things and its put in our head and makes your feel that something bad Is going to happen or might happen but it does not it’s the way you handle the situation. I am willing to help anyone or write to them if you would like.

My favorite saying is Live Life to the Fullest you don’t know what tomorrow is going to bring.
