Thanks for such a wonderful and informative site. It has really helped me through this time. I'm 48 and have had a terrible time with my cycles for the past 3 years. Finally I decided to have Novasure treatment done. Well insurance made me wait 1 year even though we only changed the type of policy we had with them. After the year wait I found out I had polyps and fibroids and small cysts on my ovaries. I then opted for a hysterectomy. I can't tell you how happy I am. It's only been 9 days since my surgery however I am feeling great. The only pain I'm having is the incision site in my navel and it's nothing really. The same day of my surgery my husband and I were playing dominoes and I was ready to go home. I can't believe I was so upset over not being able to have the Novasure treatment since I've read so many horror stories about it. Now my hubby says I've had the (Know-for-sure) treatment.

I'm so looking forward to not having to deal with monthly periods EVER again. I haven't even had any discharge or bleeding since the second day after the surgery. What a blessing. I even got back into my jeans today. My best to you all.
