 Thanks to the Hystersister site for all the valuable posts to ease my mind pre-post surgery. I was 1 yr w/out periods, when I suddenly got one...was on my way to see GYN for a breast concern. He jumped on that new period w/biopsy and a D&C. Atypia Complex Hyperplasia was the diag.
Had everything out. The prep was worse than the pain post surgery. So much easier than your mind imagines. I had a c-sect w/twins so I had some scar tissue on bladder which made surg. take longer but no big thing for me sleeping there. Even if you don't have help and have stairs , don't be scared please. I am 2 wks post op today and went on a job interview. I found out in Path that I had a teeny spot of Stage 1 cancer on the uterus....so this saved my life ........easy route...and yet I was wanting to cancel it.
