In a live internet webcast on April 7, 2009, at 6:00 pm Eastern Time, and 6pm Pacific time, Dr. Kevin Stepp will perform a hysterectomy with single incision laparoscopic approach using the CovidienTM SILS TM Port Multiple Instrument Access Port.

The SILS Port leaves a hidden umbilical scar which may result in better cosmesis and eliminate multiple trocar site closures. This advanced port offers maximal maneuverability for laparoscopic surgery through a single incision. The flexible port accepts (3) 5mm cannulas or (2) 5mm cannulas and (l) 5mm-12mm cannula, enabling advanced MIS procedures through a single incision. The cannula positions are adjustable within the flexible port.
