 I had a complete hysterectomy (uterus, cervix and right ovary) on Tuesday via the daVinci Hysterectomy. I also had a urological sling put in.

Surgery started at 930am and I was done with both around 1pm. I stayed in recovery for 2 hours, then moved to my room where my family met up with me. I had a Morphine drip which made me pretty loopy and itchy, too.

After a long, fit full night, the catheter was taken out and the Morphine stopped. At this point my pain is VERY managable... I took nothing but Motrin till this morning.

The doctor has told me no driving or lifting for 2 weeks, which is going to stink, because feeling this good on day #2, I can't imagine how restless I will be by day #7! LOL

I would highly recommend this surgery to any woman looking to have a hysterectomy!
