Hello sisters!

My name is Diane and I live in St. Paul, MN. I have lived in the area my entire life. I really love the quality of life that we have here in the Twin Cities.

Not that I never leave, mind you. I love to travel, and have been to a number of locations in Latin America. I also enjoy reading, watching movies, and not surprisingly, searching the internet. I have HysterSisters to blame for this addiction!

My hyster story is a bit different from a number of my sisters in that it came about rather suddenly. I always had painful days during my cycle, but suddenly found that pain became an everyday ordeal. When my doctor started talking about probable endometriosis and used the word "hysterectomy," my first thought was "no way!". My
doctor respected this but wanted to perform surgery to rule out anything more serious.

After doing a great deal of research on endometriosis and hysterectomy, I did decide to go ahead with the surgery. It seemed that every time I did a search online, I kept noticing this website called HysterSisters! It had the best information. Soon I stopped googling and just kept coming back to read the articles.

I have learned so much from my sisters. Every day that I can learn something new is a good day for me.

Please feel free to contact me anytime. I welcome all questions and comments!
