 Before my LAVH on 9/30 one of my biggest concerns was when would I be able to sleep on my tummy. I was really afraid of not being able to sleep and knowing how irritable that would make me. I want to encourage all belly sleepers out there. I slept on my belly the night after my surgery. I started out on my side but in the middle of the night just flipped on over and have been sleeping fine ever since. I asked the doc about it and he said that as long as I was comfortable I wasn't harming anything. I have had a great recovery and wonder why I suffered for 10 years before becoming uterus-free!
