Ask A Doctor

I want you all to know that I had never had surgery in my life 50 years and was horrified of what to expect, not the surgery on October 19, 2009.
The morning of my surgery I was real calm just wanted to get it over with and start healing. I was laying on the gurney and the Dr., Anesthesiologist and nurses all came in my room to introduce themselves to my husband and I and said not to worry they would take good care of me. That's the last I remember before I was in my room again. I never felt one bit of pain in my abdomen and healed according to plan. The only complication I had was my back, I have a bad back and didn't stress enough to put a form under my knees and boy did I suffer dearly for about two weeks. I'm seeing Dr. December 2, 2009 and I'm done. I still have a few hot flashes, but, no mood swings, yet, (haha) and I feel better than I have in years for some crazy reason. I hope I won't need HRT but, if I do will let you know. Good luck and God Bless.
