 Hi Sisters-

I had my daVinci hyst, uterus/cervix only, yesterday and it has been such a painless process so far.

My hysterectomy was to remove endometrial cancer, so I was super worried I would have to lose one/both ovaries at a pretty young age (37). But, thankfully the whole thing went very smoothly.

Worst parts so far: bowel prep, irritation from the catheter (felt a lot like a UTI--ow).

Best parts: great pain meds, no nausea in recovery, easy to walk a bit last night (got catheter removed after that), and generally feeling elated that my cancer is gone.

Things can/will change over my recovery period, I'm sure, but for now I'm really impressed.
