Hello Ladies,
I am actually at my 6 week surgery date. I did have a rough start with the tempertures, vomiting and infections. This would have been the first month of agony from my surgery. My doctor was great and once these systoms were under control with 2 more weeks of complete bedrest. I feel great! 
I have to watch myself not to over due anything. I do have tenderness in my upper thigh area and stomach near the surgery cuts, it does feel warm to the touch if I stand to long. I use ice and some advil and bedrest and it feels better. I believe this is my body's way of telling me to go and rest!!!!
I was unable to sleep the first few weeks while on bed rest. Sleep would have made the bedrest a little more inviting. These last few days, I do get tired easily and I do go and lay down to sleep. My husband and family have really taken care of me these last 2 weeks and insist I go rest. That makes it easier to go and rest and not fell guilty everyone is so busy in the house.
I would say that going into this surgery I really wanted to get a fast recovery and start getting back into the swing of everday life. With so many surprises in the first few weeks it has been a hard climb for me. There were a lot of laughs but there were also many tears.
Now I love sitting and watching the birds, while relaxing after dusting the house. I am not excited to go back to work as I was in the begining. I feel that if I can not have sex yet then no work. haha I still have another 2 weeks before I may attempt sex. This is becasue of the infection and my body just not healing as it should have.
I love this site it is so helpful. My husband and I laugh when we think about how we stumbled upon it with the girly swelling... I do want to remind everyone even though we feel we can take long walks, sex, working, house cleaning and or bake all day please allow your body to heal! Everyone does heal differently and factors we are not counting on do force us to stop and heal.
