Well, the TA surgery was performed on April 3,2000. The events that transpired were interesting to say the least:

Day 1- I was transfused two units of blood due to complications during surgery
Day 2- I developed an allergic reaction to the Morphine
Day 3 - I was re-catherized. (Sluggish Bladder )
Day 4 - I threw up the little bit of food I had taken in
and developed a blood clot over the incision
Day 5 - The general surgeon was called in (dr\'s thought I might have developed a bowel obstruction)
A tube was also inserted in my nose to my stomach
Day 6 (yes day 6!) I started to clinically feel like I should have on day 3
Day 7 Better
Day 8 RELEASED FROM HOSPITAL

After ariving at home I ran a fever for about two weeks. Although antibiotics were given around the clock, my body had a mind of it\'s own. It has been approximately 10 weeks and I am still recovering. I\'m experiencing heaviness near the incision, still some discharge and my hormones are constantly at war. I wait for the day when some glimmer of normalcy will return!
