I had a laproscopic hyterectomy on June 23, 2011 and am still having pain that I think is related to ovarian cysts. Are there cases like this that after the hysterectomy women still need the ovaries removed?

Hysterectomy have nothing to do with ovaries, so if you had ovarian pain before, then yes, you could still have the same problem.

We sometimes control ovary related pain with birth control pills, but if you are close to menopasue, I offer removing ovaries as an option if the pain is really caused by ovaries.
