I have been on hormone pellets for about 1-1/2 years. My Doctor got me right with my hormone levels one time and hasn't been able to get me right since. Three weeks ago, I had more pellets iserted and having terrible depression and mood swings, emotional, fatigue, etc...any advice?

Reply by Amie Napier, MD

Hormone pellets are tricky because the doses are not standardized, I would recommend checking your hormone blood levels and going from there. It is nice to be able to compare past levels to current levels.
