I am having an abdominal hysterectomy, and I have an abscess in my pelvic area. I am very concerned that bad complications will become of my surgery. I'm nervous and worried. Should I be?

Please talk with your doctor and ask him/her what the likelihood of having complications is going to be. Your doctor should tell you this.
