Ask A Doctor
I still find that at the end of my day, I'm exhausted. Is this normal for 8 weeks post-hysterectomy?
Your doctor may have released you to go back to your activities. You may have gone back to work. Your friends and family may expect you to be back 100%.
But are you still experiencing fatigue?
You may get up in the morning and feel wonderful. You may enjoy a day full of activity. But at some point, perhaps late in the day, you may realize that fatigue takes over.
Many HysterSisters members report still feeling extremely tired even at 8 weeks post op. Although your body may appear to be healed, your body is still trying to regain its strength. Exhaustion or fatigue is your body's way of reminding you to continue to take it easy.
Rest.
Nap when you have the opportunity. We give you permission!
