I had to have a tah bso because i had endometriosis , me and my doctor thought it was best since i had it so long ,and it was bad , had pain, and hadn't felt good in along time . For yrs i knew something wasn't right i have ibs and acid reflux also and the drs kept saying it was my ibs causing my pain in fact some of it was the endo ,they found some on my bowel when i went in for the hysto and got it off in the process they nicked my intestine but i am ok so far , i hope anyway, i still having some constipation issues , but i take meds for my ibs that does that so i don't have the runs, so doc says ill have to talk to my gastro doc about that now he said maybe i can cut some of my meds back , i do sometimes anyway , but i have been using stool softeners here and there but latley for the past month i have been eating a little applesauce every day and it works just cant eat too much , or then i am going to0 much , so when i can i am going to go to the gasto doc for a check up and find out , cause i can only skip or lessen my meds for so long , or i get the d again , anyhow i am still having some spotting here at 11 weeks post op now but doc said it could take up to a year for it to go away and not to worry that i am not doing anything wrong , its been a long process so far from being in the hospital for 4 days then recovering at home all this time . Sex is so frustrating you cant do things normally and if you dont use any lubrication or enough it burns or hurts and then i am afraid ill bleed more or something bad will happen doc says take it slow and easy gradually work into it just hard to relax you always worry in the back of your mind then there's the menopause hot flashes cold flashes crying spells and mood swings and not getting much sleep but i am hanging in there think i am doing pretty good i feel alot better just tired , i have my good and bad days this is definitely a learning experience i am just glad to be alive
