My trip to the Castle was in a silver coach, my driver was my DH. We arrived at 8:30 a.m. to be shuffled around to different rooms. Then I was escorted to the operating room at 9:40 with I.V. in tow. I got up on the table and that was the last I remember until I awoke (partially) in my room. All of a sudden I could hear voices telling me to breath!(was only taking 4 breaths a minute). I guess it was a reaction to the morphine. My blood pressure had dropped real low too. By saturday afternoon things began to get back to normal(this was friday!)
During my stay at the Castle I asked for the surgery report. It said I had an episode of Bradycardia(low heart rate). It was corrected and surgery resumed. DD said she found a nodule on my right pelvic side wall the size of a peanut m&m and very blue in color(endometriosis). It was found in many other places as well. It made me feel like The Princess and The Pea!-lol
My stay at the Castle was 5 days and 4 nights. I am healing well except for bladder infection and inflamation at my I.V. site! My first appt with my DD was the 21st in which she removed my staples.
