The Perfect Gift for a Princess

Once upon a time in the Land of Hyster a Punctured Princess laid in her bed late at night. Out her window she could see the stars dancing in the sky. In the other rooms she could hear the sounds of sleep coming from her children. Even her darling husband slept while the night carried on. In the morning with the sunrise, the princess got up, made breakfast of donuts and raspberry tea. Her fingers slipped as she picked up a donut. The donut rolled off the plate, across the table and onto the floor. "Wahhhh!" she cried. "Nothing seems right! I feel so much better since becoming a punctured princess except I don't feel like the old me I was when I was in the Land of Waiting." Knowing it didn't make sense to explain to anyone else, the princess got dressed and headed to the king.

Once in the presence of the king she felt better. He listened to her woes. He listened to her heart. Finally he told her to go home and wait while he sent some carriers to her house. "I will send you some gifts," he said. "You need to check each one out and choose which you like the best. Take your time. It will be a challenge. If I don't send the right gift this week, I will keep sending them to you day after day, week after week until the right gift is delivered." With grateful tears, the princess headed home with hope in her eyes.

Early the next morning the doorbell rang. Opening the door was a tiny little man with a long red beard. He carried a tall pitcher full of purple fizzing liquid. Slowly the princess sipped at the pitcher. She waited as the little man watched. "Well?" he asked. "No," she said. "Too sad."

The next morning, just like the day before, the door bell rang. Standing on the porch was a tall, skinny lady with a pointed nose and green hair. She held in her hands a sandwich full of red wiggly things. Taking a bite carefully, the princess chewed and waited. Watching her chew, the little lady eyed her reaction. "Well?" she asked. "No," replied the princess, "No sleep."

Again, the next morning the doorbell rang. A pink bear with a top hat stood on the porch with a bucket in his hands full of sugar looking crystals. The princess took the bucket, scooped some crystals up and took a taste. THe bear stood and watched as the princess tasted the gift. "Well?" he asked. "No," replied the princess. "Too cranky!"

Day after day the king's carriers brought the princess gifts. Every morning she opened the door to try out the gift. They were either not amorous enough, or too amorous. They were either too sleepy or not sleepy enough. They were either too feisty or not content enough. They were either too sweaty or too hot or too something!

Finally after several weeks of the wrong gift, the doorbell rang. This time when the princess opened the door a beautiful lady in a gown stood at the door with a lovely cold glass of peachy flavored nector-looking stuff. Drinking carefully and slowly from the glass, the princess waited. Smiling, she took another gulp. "Well?" the lady asked. "YES!" yelled the Princess. THis is great! I feel wonderful, content, happy, amorous, not too hot, not too wide awake, peaceful and beautiful!

The Princess's neighbors who had been watching her day after day all stood in her front yard to applaud and rejoice with her. Leaving a month's supply with the princess and promising to return each month with the king's perfect gift, the beautiful lady floated over the hills and back to whereever she came from. Relief was on the face of the princess. She would sleep again! She would dance again! She will smile at the rainbows and tease her husband again. The hyster sisters laughed to see her so happy with the king's gift.

And they lived happily ever after and were hormonally balanced forever! The End.
