Lady in Waiting Samantha
Once upon a time in the Land of Waiting, Lady Samantha paced back and forth back and forth. Her days in waiting were coming to an end and she had so much to do. Running around in circles she tried to get organized. She worked long and hard in the kitchen storing up food for those days when she wasn't allowed in the kitchen by order of the king. She worked long and hard in the laundry room trying to get all the clothes of her household clean, folded and hung up since the days were coming when she wouldn't be allowed to be in the laundry room by order of the king. Running faster and faster she wore herself out attending to the things she thought important.
Falling into a restless sleep one night after a day of tizzy, Lady Sam wrestled with the blankets. Scarey monsters dressed in white frightened her as she slept. Illusions of things going wrong, big ugly knives and walking home with her newly created two feet long scar kept her turning in her bed.
Waking the next morning in tears, Lady Samantha faced more things she needed to get done before her time. Exhausted and downtroddened Lady Sam burst into tears sobbing, "I need a hug!"
The king, knowing it best not to alter a Lady in Waiting while she was exhausted, ordered the handmaidens and the Hyster Sisters to hurry to her side. "Tell her to rest!" ordered the king. Standing around Lady Sam, the Sisters all stood, arm in arm with Sam in the middle. They hugged her and hugged her. They gathered her into their arms and reassured her. They walked her to her bed and tucked her in. They stayed by her side to make sure she slept a sleep of rest and love.
In the morning, when the sun was shining its most beautiful glowing yellow, Lady Sam was walked to the door marked "Enter Here to Become a Punctured Princess". Standing before the door Lady Samantha stood with apprehension. Turning back to her friends and hyster sisters she took one more glance. THe crowd waved and applauded. "Its okay!" they yelled to her, waving hands and throwing kisses. "The king will take good care of you!" Smiling softly at first and then with a smile the size of the Atlantic, Lady Sam took a hold of the door handle, turned the knob, opened the door and went in. In no time at all, Lady Samantha would become a Punctured Princess, wearing her scar like a crown.
And they all lived happily ever after (and were hormonally balanced) in the Land of Hyster. The End
