Hi, my name is Jean and I been married to my best friend Bob for many many years ( we still like each other). We live in southeast Texas, not far from Houston. We can enjoy the theater, restaurants and great shopping of a big city and still enjoy country life. We have a large yard and keep it filled with cats and dogs.

We have two daughters, Karen ( my older daughter) is great. She has cerebral palsy, a loving heart and a wonderful vocabulary. Laura is a Texas A&M graduate with a degree in Chemical Engineering. Halfway through her masters, she got a " calling " to teach. She's very happy teaching chemistry and physics to high school students.

I love my family, reading, Special Olympics ( I've been a coach since 1980 ), clog dancing, cooking, hand stamping my own cards and gift bags, sewing and of course Hystersisters.

I had a boring medical history until 2002 ( I've been lucky & healthy) I had a routine pap done (normal) BUT my dr found a polyp. I had a biopsy, hysteroscopy and D&C. They revealed dysplasia, hyperplasia and precancerous uterine tumors. I had a tah/bso in July '02 - no cancer (thank you God). I started taking hrt the day after my surgery ( estrogen only ). After tweaking the dosage , I've been doing pretty well on it.

While I was surfing the net for info I kept seeing a site called Hystersisters & finally decided to check it out. I love this group of compassionate, caring, knowledgeable ladies . I am so glad I found Hystersisters - it has improved my life so much! I hope to never leave!
