Dr. Garcini has a medical degree from The University of Miami Miller School of Medicine. He completed his residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Texas Health Sciences Center in Houston (LBJ General Hospital). He is a diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (Board Certified). He is also a fellow of both the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, and the American College of Surgeons. He has earned graduate degrees in both Biochemistry and Molecular Biology and has significant experience in research and teaching. Dr. Garcini is an experienced minimally invasive gynecologic surgeon with special interest in advanced laparoscopic, hysteroscopic and robotic assisted laparoscopic surgery. He is an AAGL Center of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology (COEMIG) designee and has been appointed as co-director of the Center of Excellence in Minimally Invasive Gynecology (COEMIG) at Silver Cross Hospital, in New Lenox, Illinois.
