Article: A Princess Overdoes It!

A Princess Overdoes It

Once upon a time in the Land of Hyster, a newly punctured princess sat propped up by all the fluffy pillows. Day after day she sat while the handmaidens of the land brought her raspberry tea and donuts. Day after day she looked at the same four walls. Day after day she looked out the window at the comings and goings of all the people. Finally the day came when she made her escape. After searching her closet for something suitable to wear over her princess gown, she snatched her keys, jumped into her carriage and stuffed pillows all around her. Being careful, she grinned as she drove down the streets, past all the houses, through the village to the Mall of Merchandise. She was going to make it an exciting day of shopping, shopping and more shopping.

Grabbing her purse she headed into the mall. Her face glowed with pleasure as she surveyed the first store. She examined the newest in clothing. She looked briefly at new shoes. She tested out the newest in fragrances. In only a short time, her purse seemed to weigh a million pounds. Her feet shuffled through the store as she went in search of a chair or a bench. Settling down on a nearby book display, she tried to gather her strength. She felt wilted. She felt weary. She felt limp. She had shopped 'til she dropped and it was only a matter of minutes.

Minutes ticked by and turned into hours. Hours ticked by and soon the salesmen began to turn out the lights of the mall. Tripping over the wilted princess, one salesman got on his walky-talky calling mall security. "We have another one here", the salesman reported. "On our way", was the response. Within a few moments security handmaidens arrived with the hugest pillow ever created by the king. They picked up the Punctured Princess, placed her carefully on the mobile pillow and carried her home while another handmaiden drove her car home.

Waking the next morning in her own bed, she looked at her four walls and smiled. She looked out her window and grinned. She knew the time would come when shopping would be fun again and she would have new strength. Until then, she would rest and learn to enjoy her view.

And she lived happily ever after and was hormonally balanced. The End.
