Hurting(dealing with chronic pain and hormone inbalance, doctors dont care! 10-17-2006 - 09:15 PM
God in heaven, hear my cry.
I beckon you, help me fly.
above my weakness,
above my pain,
above my sorrow, in your mighty name.

I am empty, my spirit is dead, these haunting voices are inside my head.
I can not go on much longer, my road is dark- no hope is around, my fear is that this sickness will put me in the ground.

God in heaven, lonely and broken am I, I beckon you please hear my cry.
Take these chains that hold me down, calm these waves before i drown.

Falling no one see's.
Reaching no one cares.
Hiding all my pain
Please send your healing rain.

Give a light to see through this dark place, i need your holy grace,
Hurting, hurting so bad, catch me father, hold me, see me, hear me, i'm screaming, i'm begging, pleading, help me.

I see two things in your posts.

The first thing is that you are in tremendous pain and that breaks my heart. You are not alone. You are in my prayer list and I am sure I am not the only one. I don't know you, but I am praying for you to heal and want very much for you to find relief. Please don't stop posting. It allows others to support you in a small way.

The other thing that I see in your posts is true beauty in your expression of personal pain. I see you are a musician from your profile. I would love to hear your words put to music. Maybe your agony has revealed a tremendous gift.

Again, please keep posting.

Erin

Just thought I would drop in my 2 cents. I am a chronic pain sufferer also with bursitis/sciatica in both hips, legs, and back. I too have had doctors that do not care about my pain issues. Feel free to PM/Email me. There are a couple of sites that may help you with your chronic pain: www.myonlinewellness.com www.ampainsoc.org Do a google search and you should come up with different websites that can help you or give you suggestions/insight to your pain relief. Keep trying to find yourself that doctor or team of doctors that believe in helping you they are out there. My former orthopedic in Maryland is still helping me as he can eventhough I am in NC now but do not have medical ins or even a dr. I am praying for you. Reach out if you need too. Monica

ps - I have found keeping a pain journal (i just use my hs journal) helps me to explain what brings on my pain, what makes it worse, etc. Take it one moment at a time, that's what I do. I try concentrate on the here and now the moment infront of me. Self-hypnosis helps me also. Using a heating pad helps me too.
