OK - meditate - exercise - read a book that you like - watch a funny movie - go for a walk outside - do something "just for fun." AND - look in the mirror and tell yourself that you're a beautiful person who is loving and lovable 6 times/day.
THEN - if you still feel blue after doing this for 2 weeks - call to make an appointment to talk with your doctor.
Did I see that you are only a couple of weeks into your recovery? Sweetie, you need to give yourself time. I remember that it was very hard enduring those first few weeks. Do you have any friends that could come over to spend some time with you? Someone you can phone? Even going outside for a short stroll can lift your spirits. And as far as being selfish and self-focused....well, that's exactly what you need to be doing right now. Focus on yourself and take care of YOU!
First, never apologize for your feelings. That is what this is for. We get to come and speak our hearts and minds, and are accepted and hopefully gain back something from this.
Give yourself a break, and listen to your heart.
I know things can get really rough, but trust in this: It will be better.
