My surgeon's office called today, and they have to re-schedule my surgery date. They have moved it back a week, so now July 31st instead of July 24th. The main problem with this is that my daughter has already made arrangements with her job to take off to be with me for the day of surgery and following couple of days.

And, now, I just do not feel confident the date won't change again.

I have just found out two days ago that I am going to have a TAH on July 24th. I am not happy about it, but gotta do what you gotta do.

I am going to use these next 8 weeks to try to get into better physical shape prior to the surgery, lose a few pounds, work on my attitude, and meditation.

I am a coward when it comes to pain, and squeamish !
