She arrived a week early and I am in so much pain, but this is my last period ever, so I am happy about that!

I got all my paperwork today for my Pre admission testing and the surgery date. Put it in a big white envelope for future reference. Don't ask me why I am thinking it wasn't a real date. Maybe we all think that till is is more concrete!

Title pretty much tells it all, but hubby and I did the deed last night and afterward when I went to turn over I got some sharp pains down in my uterus area. Not sure exactly what it is. Another reason to remind me that this is one of the reasons I am having surgery!

The nurse called and I am having surgery on 2/23! One more cycle. (I keep repeating this in my mind.) I get pre-op blood work done on the 15th. Everyone in my doctor's office is so great. I will be in the castle for one night.

I am getting a bladder sling along with my TVH. Will be getting the surgery date today. I got back with hubby. Must be my emotions playing with me. I hope that the surgery nurse calls soon!

I have been married for 15 years and this morning I told him that I wasn't in love with him anymore. It is really hard seeing him hurt. Makes me hurt too. He got me where I am today and we have two kids together. Our kids need their dad and their mom. It is hard to just drop 15 years, but I just can't keep going on.

about everything and I don't know my date till next week. Cooking....getting kids up for school. Baking. Guess I will be freezing a lot of things.

Blah.....It is just so disgusting how we bleed out every month. The pain, the pads, the leaking. EWWWW. Please let February get here soon!!!

Four days before my period I got an infection of some type (Vaginal) I used the over the counter stuff and it went away the day after my period started.

I didn't start yet. My last period was November 27th. Did anyone else ever skip a period after finding out they were getting a hyster?

Although if this could push my period up a week or two it could be my last one before my hyster!!

I should get a date January 19th!

For the dreaded period. I know this is the second to last one, but still, it stinks that it is coming.

Went to my pysc doctor today and she said that one of my lab test results for my thyroid was low. (Free T4) She wanted me to set up an appointment with my PCP, which I did and have an appointment tomorrow. I guess I will find out some answers soon on that. We took more blood to check my iron levels and see how my red blood count is doing.

I told my family that I was going to be having the surgery done and low and behold my step mom had a hyster in 1996! She says she felt a million times better after. I am glad to have a family member that has been through it!

I have been pretty crampy all of today, but no bleeding. It felt like I was going to start my period, but it is to early for that.

I have not yet told my parents and my sister that I am having a hyster in February. I guess I don't want to have people feeling bad for me or thin that I am just trying to seek attention. The wacky thing is that I really need to talk to my Dad about this cause the hospital he had surgery done in is the same hospital I will be going to and I was wondering how his experience was. But I just can't make myself talk to them about it!! Of course my hubby knows and one of our sons. I still have to tell the other.

Last night I got really bad gas pains and I threw up.

I need to note when I do not feel good and everything.

Today I am nauseous and a little bit of pain on the left side, lower area.

Was out doing errands around 4 and got cramps.

So far I have figured out the following: I am in no way going to be able to stay on my couch. I just can't sleep on it. And even though my bedroom is upstairs and the bathroom is downstairs I am still going to be upstairs in my bed! How?
Hubby is going to put our camping toilet in our bedroom. I can still get up and walk around, but not go down stairs for a few days.

For years I have had such horrid periods. Heavy bleeding, really bad cramps. I was laying around and sleeping 3 to 4 days out of the month. I have been to quite a few doctors over the years and for a long time they had tried to get me to take birth control pills.

I had a tubal when hubby and I's youngest son was born (12-15-97)

I finally went to a new doctor and explained all these things and he finally said that a hysterectomy would help. I was really happy that he said that. For me it is a positive thing.

I am 35 and am glad I wont have to endure this for another 20 years.

We are planning for the hysterectomy to be done in February 2010.
