I just started a blog at wordpress to detail my experiences with mesh erosion and mesh removal and can't decide if I should put copies of my entries there in this journal as well.

I started that blog related to mesh erosion complications, but I did have a hysterectomy and will also soon be seeing my regular gynecologist to start me on my path of proper HRT. I'm gonna need a place to write about that process as well. Perhaps they go hand in hand??

I'm working on compiling as much online educational resources as I can find as well. With of course a link back here to the most awesome forum of help and support I've found since my hysterectomy in 2005!

I started it because before i had my mesh removal surgery it was very difficult to find any stories or personal occurrences actually detailing the removal surgery as well as the recovery process.

Not to mention the cathartic effects of soothing my soul with blogging it all out of my system. If that were a possible thing.

I know for all of us ladies with mesh placed inside us, with complications from said mesh, it is such an overwhelming and depressing issue. Our self esteem suffers, our hearts are broken, we feel helpless and hopeless frequently. I am on the journey to recovery and am more than happy to support others on their path as well. We are NOT alone, and just in the knowledge of that...there is great comfort!
