Hiya KatieBeanie, and welcome! Through all my surgeries my doctor advised me to concentrate on healing and worry about my weight after my body was less stressed. Let me just say I love my doctor, but umm yeah, right. Hind site after so many surgeries, for me, that was exactly the right thing to do. Kudos to you for being aware of what you are eating. It's so easy to turn to snacking to for comfort and out of boredom.

Keep in mind immediately post op, the gains you see on the scale might not necessarily all be from fat. It might be a result of fluid retention and swelling.

I'm not on HRT, so I can't comment on the effects of it. Today I am losing weight at the same rate I did pre-op.
