how long does it take too get results on bits they take away

just wondering how long till we know everything is clear is it at our 6 weeks check or if something nasty was found would hospital inforn us sooner 4 weeks post op have 2 huge gragefruit size fibriods i think removed just hope thats all it was good luck everyone great site kept me sane xx

Sorry I've only just seen this post. My consultant sent me a letter outlining the findings about two weeks post op, possibly a bit earlier. My 6 weeks check was a week earlier as it fell over Christmas. She did an internal which didn't hurt. I am certain they would contact you earlier if there was a problem.
