Total hyst and galbladder, and seizures!

Both- total hysterectomy and galbladder: Anyone ever had this done at the same time? Does it seem like twice the pain? What is the recovery time?

I also have to have hormone replacement, but I have seizures. Anyone have any experience?

I'm also concered about feeling like an 'it.' But looking forward to it all ina strange way.

Total hyst and galbladder, and seizures!

I had my gallbladder out last Aug. I have had previous abdominal sugeries and it really wasn't any different as far as pain goes. Mine was inflamed and infected. I just can't imagine why they didn't see anything wrong with my uterus at the same time. I really don't want to have to go through the healing process of another surgery. But I will do whatever it takes to feel good again!!

Sorry about the 'it' statement, I was seeing all the sexual dysfunction references without reading the posts and answers and having a 'total' I was wondering if we don't feel a loss of femininity, but you do call this the 'Sisters.'

It depends on the type of surgery you had, the geography veiw may have been different and they went in the area of the uterus. That's what a doctor told me whne I ask him to take my gallbladder when they went in for the appendix.
