Novasure questions on bleeding

Hi, I've searched the archives and read info on Novasure here. I'm hoping some of you can tell me your experiences with Novasure.

Had the Novasure done two weeks ago. Had period the week before. Felt great a day or two after the surgery. About two days later some stomach pains or cramps began and they're even worse now. Also, the bleeding didn't go away and got very heavy today (like post-op). It's just like another period. The doctor checked for fibroid, etc and said everything looked normal. Has anyone else experienced bad cramping and bleeding two weeks later? The back pains are there too. Doctor's appointment is later this week. I just wanted to know if anybody else has experienced similar things so soon after the Novasure and how long will this last. Thanks for any help. Thanks.

Novasure questions on bleeding

I had the Novasure on 7/11/08 and had cramping that was so severe that medication didn't touch it. It continued for 4 solid weeks. Finally I had to have a TAH on 8/11 and in the PreOP my doctor told me that she had read over the weekend that the procedure had caused the "burnt parts" to be pushed up into my tubes (that had been tied in '89 after a C-Section) and that happens in only 10% of cases and that is what was causing the cramping. I hope you get to feeling better soon!

the cramping is tolerable. it's the bleeding that's the problem. did you have a problem with that too?

Novasure questions on bleeding

Just heavy spotting, not really bleeding. It was the cramping that was a major issue for me. It was like my uterus was on fire all the time and I was cramping like I was trying to expel something. I wish I could be of more help. I want you to feel better. I know how it is!
