Intercourse To Soon

I had a SAH on May 19 so I am 5 weeks today. I have been feeling good. I don't see my surgeon until 8 weeks because she is on holidays. I read in a Hysterectomy book that if you keep your cervix you can probably resume intercourse a bit sooner. So, I had intercourse this morning, it didn't hurt really but, now I feel sick to my stomach like I am going to throw up because I feel like I shouldn't have. I am just really upset & worried.

I think "most" women get the green light to resume sexual activities at the 6 week mark. If you aren't hurting and there isn't any blood, you probably are just worrying too much. Keep an eye on yourself. Everyone heals differently and your body may have been ready whereas someone elses might not.

I had sex at five weeks and I didn't keep my cervix, doctor said it was ok. There was a tiny bit of blood not really any pain, just tender. You'll be ok, no blood, no pain, you're good!!
