Recovery Progress Reports for Hysterectomy dates Oct 12-Oct 18,2009

4 week checkup on Monday- it was my first time out in the car, and wow- past two days I have paid for it!
He said all is pretty well, except I have two pockets of fluid of the left side. I am to give it another 2 weeks and see if my body absorbs it, because it's in that muscle that gave him so much trouble, where I herromaged from.
If not absorbed, then he will have to drain it with a long *gulp* needle.
It will be done at the hospital in case I hemmorage again.
No sex for another few weeks at least.
Said I am about 2 weeks behind normal due to the larger and deeper incision and my internal stitches haven't dissoved yet- how does he know that from just feeling the side of my tummy?
BUT I can take a bath yeah!

I am very swollen from the car ride though. It surprised me, it must be from the movement of the vehicle? Have huge swelly belly again. Slept alot for the past two days too.

Cannot wait to hit that 6 week marker!
