EndoCa: low grade endometrial stromal tumor

WOW! I was feeling fine. no symptoms, then had a prolonged period with HUGE clots. Saw my ob/gyn had bx which questioned low grade endometrial stromal tumor. Was referred to Oncology, and within 3 weeks had a TAHBSO, mestenteric and aortic lymphnodectomies, omentecomy, exp lap. As of today 7 days post op feeling good but still waiting for final path report. It seems the "nipple sized" tumor burst during surgery and microscopic cells dispursed throughout my utuerus. I've got a good feeling about my prognosis and this site helps to build my faith and support dailt. thank you ladies.

i have just been diagnosed with the same thing. I had a radical hysterectomy 2 weeks ago, and looking for support. what happened after? do they think it will grow back? this is my biggest concern/worry right now. I have to go in every 3 months for 3 years to get checked out. kind of nerve racking for me. I am still post-op, and my hormones are all out of whack. but you are the only person on this website that seems to have the same thing.
