Question - does sweating and the heat reduce your estrogen? does sweating and the heat reduce your estrogen?

Its been so hot around here like alot of places.
I have been outside the last two days working outdoors and then indoors.
I put my patch on early Tues. this week. I was sweating alot those past two days when I worked outside. It feels like my patch is really not doing much at all. I had restless sleep, increased muscle tension in the arms and shoulders and neck, feel like I could cry at times.
Did I sweat my estrogen right out of the patch?

My pharmacist told me to use that Estrogel in the pm when I won't be so active & sweating. With the triple digits & humidity, I was just sweating it off my arm when applying a dose in the a.m., particularly if I went outside to do yard work. Plus, if you are active and small with low body fat/BMI, my doctor said the estrogen seems to be utilized a lot faster; smaller active women often have problems maintaining ample estrogen as with difficulty with sleep. Figures my sole issue is getting sleep.

Did you bump your patch all the way up from 1 to 1 and 1/2. Maybe, you should try a 1/4. Too much estrogen interferes with my sleep. The least little increase or decrease can make a world of difference! The dose that seems to fit me best consistently is a patch and a 1/4 of one. That's using the Vivelle Dot 1...the highest dose Vivelle Dot has on the market. I'm not sure which patch you are on.
