Vivelle and exercising...

Hi ladies,

I was using vivelle .05 for about a month but it stopped working so my gyne upped me to .075. I have been using it about 2 weeks with no problems. Well monday I started walking because gyne said to exercise 3-5 days a wk. Last night was a rough night and this morning I felt a little shaky and tiny hot flashes but sweating a lot. I was due to change my patch out tonight but I went ahead and changed it out this morning.bmy question is can your body need more estrogen if you are exercising? Gyne said I could change out the patch every 3 days if I needed too because I have my ovaries she doesnt want to give me a higher dose of estrogen. Ugh!!

Yes, your body can use up estrogen quicker due to exercise. I would give it some time. Just because you have a day of flashing doesn't necessarily mean it's time to make a change.
