Surgery Type: DvH

Ovaries: Removed both

Re: Looking at options for heavy bleeding.

I had an ablation due to bleeding that would not stop. It worked for me and I was a little older than you. I was very happy with the results.

My reasons for having a hysterectomy were different than most because I have Lynch Syndrome which leads to increased risk of uterine cancer - sort of like the breast cancer gene - so had a prophylactic hysterectomy.
