Never to be a mother

Never To Be A Mother:A Guide for All Women Who Didnt -- Or Couldnt -- Have Children

Author:Linda Hunt Anton

Ingram:

A guide for childless women offers ten steps toward resolution, including acknowledging and experiencing the loss, letting go of blame, rechanneling mothering energy, maximizing the advantages of child-free living, and more.

Book Review:

I am one of those women who never had the chance to have a child and I am still working through grief issues due to this. I found a very good book titled "Never to Be A Mother" by Linda Hunt Anton that addresses those issues in a very meaningful way. The author is a childless woman who finally had to accept the reality that motherhood would never happen to her. She has outlined ten steps toward dealing with the loss of the motherhood opportunity. I would highly recommend it to anyone who is going through this. Hopefully this will be as helpful to someone else as it has been for me.
God bless.
Linda

Never To Be A Mother

thank you for posting this book. I'm going to add it to my Amazon wish list, and let folks know that I think I really need it. I'm 6 months out from my TAH, and I'm just now realizing that I have yet to deal with the grief of having lost three babies(miscarraige/reabsorbtions) along with the chance to ever have one full term. I'm hoping that this book will help, when I can get it.

Re: Never To Be A Mother

Thank you for posting this. I've been looking for something to help me with the fact that I will never be able to have children and the grief this has brought to my life. I just ordered the book. Thank you.
