LSH: How long will the surgery take?

I have to report two hours before my surgery. My doc says the surgery is two hours, with another 45-60 minutes in recovery and then up to my room. My husband refuses to leave while I'm under. My hospital has a digital progress monitor so family can know where you are in the process.

glad to see this post! I forgot to ask my dr this last week. I am having a TLH w/a possible TAH on friday of this week. He is having to remove everything, so it looks like 2-3 hours I am guessing. I am sure I will be told friday when I get to the hospital.
