Hyst for prolapse not needed!

You are young so please get a second opinion. About 10 years ago , maybe earlier i was told that my uterus was prolapsing and that i should prepare myself for a total hysterectomy. I WAS TERRIFIED AND UNPREPARED. needless to say i asked around and and found another GYN by friends references. It turned out it was NOT my uterus that was prolapsed but my bladder. My gyn said i did not need a hysterectomy but if i was having issues with my bladder (which i did, pain, pain , pain, and stress incontence) that i should see a urologist. I did the physical therapy and it was a bit embarasisng for me but the therapist (lady) was very professional and guess what , I GOT SO MUCH BETTER. So do yourself a favor and get a second opinion. if your gyn gets offended then shame on them you are protecting yourself. my gyn encouraged me to get a second opinion. also go to a doc your friends trust . i also had two large babies (9.1 and 7.11). here i am 10 years later and doing well. i dd decide to get the surgery but that was after i did everything else and was confident it was right for me and NOW im glad i did it. no regrets. TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF.
