Hi from Melbourne. 4 and a half weeks post op TAH + ovarian cyst removed. Just found this aussie section. Still sore and tire easily. Have lower back problem just to take my mind off my tummy! Great NOT!

Hey Petal - all this lovely Melbourne weather we are missing out on huh?! I am waiting on surgery but laid up with severe adeno symptoms, watching the lovely days of late summer early autumn slip by! Always hard not to be out soaking up these lovely Melbourne days knowing winter is coming huh!?? Hope your recovery is going ok besides the bad back, and you get to enjoy the autumn at least. Hot packs, a good osteopath, and swimming when you can get to it are all I can offer as recommendations for the back. Other than that, I hope you can rest and heal well.

Had my 6 week check up today and gave me the go ahead to return to work next Monday. Still baby steps, gradually getting back into life.
